Architectural conception.
The stylistic decision of the tent constructions is dictated by the unique location of the site on the roof of the commercial building, at a high altitude. An additional challenge was the need to preserve the existing roof covering (waterproofing carpet), as well as the small number of existing points of support on the building frame.
Planning decision.
A spatial structure was created on top of the existing roof - a stylobate that distributes loads from tent structures, equipment and visitors.
Stylobat is covered with a deck board, effectively shading bright white volumes of awnings.
The high requirements of the Customer for the innovativeness of the structures are reflected in the lighting device in the body of the load-bearing elements of the tent structures. The backlight has created a vivid and memorable image.
